Townshend welcomes applications from suitable candidates to join its Academic Staff from September 2010.

Townshend is currently seeking to recruit four teachers who are able to teach one or a combination of the following subjects in Senior High-School:

  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • English Language and Literature
  • Biology
  • Bahá’ì Studies

Requirements for working at Townshend are:

  • Subject and Teaching qualifications;
  • Understanding for the needs of a residential program;
  • Desire and love for teaching and assisting children and youth.
  • Teacher preferably have experience or willingness to adapt methodology to the requirements of the Cambridge International Examinations (IGCSE, AS and A levels)
  • Sympathy with the Bahá’ì Ethos
