Townshend International School is a non-profit organization with a history of sponsoring children who due to the financial constraints of their parents would not have been able to attend the school. In the last few years, it has become harder and harder for the school to carry such a burden alone. The school is now reaching out to individuals and/or companies to donate to the Townshend Sponsorship Fund. Donors are free to do so anonymously or to be a part of the sponsored child's life; and they can determine their donation, i.e. for a certain child, or a child from a certain background... The smallest amount of contribution on your part may be the largest contribution and the greatest lesson of generosity and service in the life of a child. Donations can be made via our PayPal account or through bank transfers. Any of the school accounts can be used for this purpose. Important is to define the transfer as 'Donation' or 'Sponsorship Fund'. In case you are interested in deducting your donation from taxes, please contact the school Finance Office for information.
