Today, the Seniors begin their trip back to Townshend, in time for the annual Student vs. Alumni football game tomorrow, and graduation the following day. It’s hard to believe the year is coming to an end, and that we are sending another amazing group of students out into the world.
We got this news from them, on their last night in Croatia:
“In addition to the trip to the National Park in Krka, we spent a few days exploring in and around the cities of Trogir and Split. Some of us visited the 600-yer-old Kamerengo Fortress in Trogir, originally part of the Republic of Venice, while others sunned on the beautiful beaches of Croatia. Everyone enjoyed the markets filled with fresh fruit and exploring the numerous shops. With two days left, a boat trip to Split was organized where we visited a historic church, and then cooled off in the refreshing waters of the Adriatic Sea. The last including cleaning and packing, walking to town to buy souvenirs, and finished off with a late night barbecue dinner, starting at 11:30pm! Tomorrow the we depart back to Townshend, looking forward to the exciting final days leading up to their graduation on Saturday afternoon."
