You are invited! Townshend’s Model United Nations Club (MUN) presents “United Nations Day” on Wednesday, November 11. Like last year, UN Day will feature music and dance performances, inspirational speeches, poetry readings, a fashion show, essay contest, presentations, guest speakers and the colorful flag ceremony. This year, our UN Day will feature a science project contest and a mini science fair to go along with the theme for this event “International Science and Peace.” This program will highlight and explore ways science is being used for peaceful purposes around the world.
