Transformation for Peace
Transformation for Peace (TFP) is a Baha'i-inspired, 3-year summer programme that offers Junior Youth (aged 12-15) a fun and spiritually-uplifting opportunity to come together and to create a community based on the guiding principles of unity, justice, diversity, and consultation.
The programme includes academic study of the Baha’i teachings, creative expression through arts, and guided interactive consultation. Participants often form strong friendships with others from around the world - friendships that can last a lifetime.
The overarching goals of the Transformation for Peace programme are to help the Junior Youth self-evaluate and discover their own potential, to develop their participation in community-building core activities, and to assist in their preparation to accept their spiritual responsibilities upon reaching the age of maturity.
The Animator-led programme is organised by a team of volunteers and held at the Townshend International School campus, in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of the Czech Republic in the heart of Europe. Each year’s programme is organised by a caring team of experienced Coordinators and dynamic Youth Animators.
