Thank you Townshend parents, staff and students who attended the History Fair last week! What a fantastic turnout! This year Upper Primary students presented posters and information about different Latin American topics we covered in History classes.
Topics ranged from ancient Latin American empires (Aztecs, Incas and Mayas), conquistadors and colonialism, pirates of the Caribbean, geography and environment, and revolutionary movements.
All those who attended asked amazing thought provoking and interesting questions. It was wonderful and refreshing to hear from Townshend parents, staff and students that they discovered and learned something new about Latin America from the Upper Primary History Fair. A job well done!
