Townshend International School Play - Blood Brothers

On Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd February the Townshend Drama group performed the play Blood Brothers by Willy Russell.

Under the expert tutelage of director Miss Nelson, the students performed the tragic story of 2 brothers separated at birth. Various musical pieces were performed as part of the play and the actors showed the variety of emotions conveyed in the play, from comedic scenes to that of immense sadness.

The play was performed in a magically transformed seminar room, transformed into the stages required of a front of a council estate house and a living room for an upper middle class family. They were also well supported by stage technicians under the guidance of Mr Sabri.

The students performed in front of an enraptured audience who gave the actors many standing ovations as they truly deserved.
