On Friday 27th April, Grade 9 and Level 1 students went to Mauthausen Concentration camp to learn about the atrocities committed by the Nazis. They had a guided tour by Mr Setchell and saw the many memorials to the victims across Europe that were imprisoned in the camp.
Their behaviour was excellent, and afterwards had time to see Plus City and end on a more optimistic note. This trip aids them to study Germany 1918-1945 as part of their IGCSEs, as well as aid moral development and civics.
