Christmas Markets 2019

There was a beautiful atmosphere this weekend at the Ceske Budejovice Christmas Market. Our ‘To Gather Together’ group organised a fundraising stall for the education of girls in The Gambia, selling greeting cards, cookies, waffles and hoodies, whilst sparking interesting conversations about what we do at Townshend. On Sunday afternoon, a group of students & friends performed on the main stage in the town square, sharing music and spreading the holiday spirit. Thank you to everybody who participated - you made us proud!
